11. Face Mask Research. - Government issued reusable mask - difficult to breathe

Many more Singaporeans are wearing face masks as Singapore and globally report more Covid-19 cases every day or two. A rare few wear double masks, but I don't know how they can breathe. These masks are not breathable.

Probably, they have to lift open the side or bottom of their masks when they can't breath.

"Don't wear face mask if you are well" was the earlier advice from the World Health Organisation and the Singapore Government.

However, on April 4, 2020, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong advised the people to wear face masks when they go out. The Government also gives each citizen a useable face mask to be collected at the Community Centres or Resident Committee areas from April 5 to 12.

In late April, face mask wearing is mandatory.

More Covid-19 cases are diagnosed daily. In the past 7 days, the number of locally transmitted COVID-19 cases has increased. As at 4 April 2020, 12 pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed verified an additional 75 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore, of which 6 are imported and 69 are local cases who have no recent travel history abroad. There are 26  Hospitalised (Critical) and 6 Deaths.

Some people prefer the polyurethane face mask.  This Pitta brand has a comfortable and
fits snugly onto the face.But it does not have a centre filter. 

From April 7 to May 4, 2020, Singaporeans are advised to stay indoors most of the time. Non-essential businesses and government departments will be closed. Singapore is not in a lockdown yet. Keeping your social distance have had resulted in lowering the number of Covid-19 cases.

As fabric face masks must be washed daily when used, it is best to keep 2 more.
